To enter the Training Mode, simply press 'Z' after game select. Now plug the mouse in port 2 and hold down the right mouse button while it loads.
For infinite lives, when the 'insert data disc' prompt appears, hold down 'Z', plug the mouse into port 2, and hold down 'RIGHT MOUSE' while it loads.
